Institute of Power Engineering

The Institute provides Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs in power engineering, automotive engineering and transport facilities construction that ensure academic and research excellence of the graduates. 

The faculty cooperates with research teams from the universities in Western Europe and East Asia, including the Humboldt University of Berlin, the Potsdam Institute for the Study of Climate Change, the Danish Technical University, the University of Copenhagen, the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Warwick, and the Huazhong University of Science and Technology.

  • Systems analysis of the efficiency of energy complexes and development of the theoretical framework for creating energy efficient methods to the production, distribution and energy consumption, and application of combined cycle and nuclear power technology
  • Improving production efficiency, conversion, transmission, and distribution of electricity and managing electric power processes
  • Scientific foundation, physical and mathematical modeling of advanced electrotechnology units, electrotechnical and electrical devices and facilities
