Accommodation
Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov has several student dormitories designed for temporary accommodation for the period of study of non-resident (foreign) students, undergraduates, graduate students, doctoral students studying on a full-time basis:

Dormitory №1 - Saratov, Shehurdina Str., 2 (5-storey building of corridor type);

Dormitory № 3 - Saratov, Polytechnicheskaya str., 126 (5-storey building, corridor type);

Dormitory № 4 - Saratov, Polevoy pr., 19 (5-storey building of corridor type);

Dormitory №5 - Saratov, Begovaya Str., 22 (5-storey building of corridor type);

Dormitory №6 - Saratov, 2-Sadovaya Str., 97 (9-storey building, sectional type).
The order of allocation of places, conditions of occupancy, internal regulations are set out in the Regulation on the student dormitory of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov.
Each of the dormitories has showers, kitchens, washrooms, rooms for drying clothes.
Dormitory living rooms are designed for 2 and 3-bed accommodation. Rooms are equipped with furniture and bedding. There is a change of bed linen every week.
For cultural events, discos and meetings with residents there are assembly rooms equipped with lighting and audio equipment.
There are study rooms in every dormitory to prepare for classes.
The sports rooms in the dormitories are equipped with modern simulators. Here you can usefully spend time for those who are not indifferent to sports. Within walking distance are sports fields, where competitions and fields days are held, and in their free time students can play soccer, volleyball, basketball.
In the dormitory № 6, which provides accommodation for family students, there is a children's playroom with soft modules and a dry pool.
Visiting rooms are provided to accommodate parents who come to visit students.
The cost of living in the dormitory is determined by the order of the university.
To move into the dormitory students of Yuri Gagarin State Technical University of Saratov need to submit an application to the Directorate of the Institute after the release of the order of admission.
Students at the time of enrollment should have with them:
- certificate of enrollment from the institute
- passport
- fluorography
- certificate of vaccination (information regarding vaccinations)
- 3 photos
- money for living expenses.
